Being a part of the FNDC staff is one of the most rewarding employment experiences imaginable. Helping children play, grow, and develop the self-confidence and skills they will use for the rest of their lives is unforgettable, as are the memories that staff members take with them every summer.

First Neighborhood Day Camp is back to continue our 53-year tradition of fun, excitement and friendship! The FNDC experience is unlike any other camp. The directors, counselors and campers combine to create a family, community oriented environment for your child to enjoy and create lasting memories. The 2020 summer has new, innovative theme weeks and activities to only add to your camper's excitement!

FNDC runs from June 15th to August 7th from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday. ​

Wranglers 1 - PK-K  
Hi campers! My name is Pineapple! I was a camper for eight years at FNDC and this will be my second summer working at the camp! I like long walks on the beach, hanging out with friends, and dancing! I would say all foods are my favorite, but pizza will always be #1 in my heart. I was in my school's theatre program for 3 years and plan to continue my career as an actor. I am looking forward to for a fun-filled summer! 
Wranglers 2 - 1st grade
Hi! My name is Chewy and this is my second summer working at FNDC! I am about to be a Sophomore at Indiana University and I am happy to be back and defrost from the freezing midwest by the pool at camp.  My favorite animal is a penguin and if you ask me to I can make myself look like one. I love dancing, making friendship bracelets, and re-watching High School Musical. You can probably find me either hiking or at yoga if you like the zen life too. I am excited to finally be back at camp and meet all of the new campers!
Explorers 1 - 2nd grade
What's up guys it's Poptart! I go to the University of Alabama where I just finished my freshman year. This is my first summer working at camp and I am so excited to meet y'all! If I'm not eating or napping you can find me at the beach or playing soccer. My favorite foods are sushi, donuts, and of course...poptarts! See you soon!
Explorers 2 - 3rd grade

You'll find me chilling out by the pool or hanging around the mall (cause I’m a shopaholic!) Explorers 3 - 4th grade
Hi guys, I’m so excited to come back to camp for the second year now! If you guys don’t know me, my name is Speedy. I currently attend the University of Alabama where I just got into my athletic training program. Roll tide. But back home I love going to the beach and eating at Italia deli is where you can find me. And I am always up for a good race. Catch me this summer at camp. Or catch me if you can! 
 Teens 1 - 5th grade
Hi everyone! It's Snapple! I go to college at CSUN and enjoy playing sports and playing video games even though I'm pretty bad at both but I still have fun!  I am big fan of rap music and love talking about music in general, so fair warning!  Also, I am the only person I know to consider bacon one of the most overrated foods ever.
Teens 2 - 6th grade

Hi I’m Sparkles! This will be my fourth year working at FNDC & I am so excited to see familiar & new faces this summer! I did choir all 4 years of high school & I loved it! I’ve played soccer my whole life, I love disneyland & all things disney related & my favorite color is purple! I will be attending University of Colorado, Boulder in the fall. Can’t wait to see you all!!

Hi! My name is Shrimp , and I will be a senior at Agoura High School in the fall. I have been to FNDC almost every summer since I was in Kindergarten.  I love to play soccer, hang with friends, and take my dog on hikes! My favorite food HAS to be an animal-style burger from IN-N-OUT.

Hi! My name is Shoelace. I have been coming to this camp for 3 years to help make your summer as awesome as possible. I am going to be a senior at Agoura High School this year. I love playing soccer, going to Mammoth, and going to the beach. My favorite type of food is for sure BBQ. 
Sports Director
What’s up ya little critters, it’s Cyclone. I’m a Junior at Boise State University and am SO psyched for another year as Sports Director. I like Mexican food, Kickball, and Belly Flops. My goal for this year is to have MORE fun and get LESS sunburnt. Can’t wait for another summer at the best camp out there!!!
Special Activities Director
What’s up, it’s your boy Wonton and I am back again for another season of FNDC!! I am majoring in Chemistry and will be a Junior at University of California, Santa Barbara this fall. If I am not training at the gym for Color Wars (to prevent myself going 0-3 this year), I am always listening to music, playing beach volleyball with fellow friends and coworkers, or eating at Sea Casa with Cyclone. I am ecstatic to get this summer started and to see returning faces and am even more excited to get to know the new campers!! ​

Hi guys!! I'm Sunflower (aka Peralta) I am so excited to be back as arts and crafts director this summer! I currently go to school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and when I'm not studying you can find me eating ice cream or sushi at the beach. I love to play soccer, watch movies, and travel; I went to 9 countries this year!!
