L.I.T. Program

FNDC is continuing its wildly popular LIT program! Being an LIT offers 7th graders an opportunity to gain leadership experience and assist the FNDC leadership team in supporting our campers. LITs also are eligible to attend FNDC at a heavily discounted cost!

Mondays and Tuesdays:
LIT's get to shadow our CIT and Jr. Counselors and get hands-on experience to learn what it takes to help run a day at camp! They will learn and develop the skills necessary for working with kids as well as their leadership skills. Throughout the day, LIT's will have the opportunity to help run our specialty activities throughout the day and workshop ideas of their own to try.
Wednesdays:
LIT's get to enjoy a normal camp day and enjoy themselves at the field trip!
Thursdays:
LIT's get to shadow our CIT and Jr. Counselors and get hands-on experience to learn what it takes to help run a day at camp! They will learn and develop the skills necessary for working with kids as well as their leadership skills. Throughout the day, LIT's will have the opportunity to help run our specialty activities throughout the day and workshop ideas of their own to try.
Fridays:
LIT's continue to develop their skills as leaders and debrief their week during their LIT period! We'll discuss their experience, facilitate leadership activities, and thank our LIT's for a job well done!

Registration is Open!
For every family, regardless of whether or not you are a First Neighborhood Resident, are eligible to enroll your current 7th Grader into our L.I.T. program. Current 7th graders can attend camp at a rate of $170 per week. This special is per child and does not include extra discounts.
