We are always looking for fun, energetic, responsible individuals to join the FNDC team!

We want counselors who can:
  • Keep themselves off their cellphones and engage with every camper
  • Is willing and ready to participate in every activity
  • Is personable, flexible, and isn't shy to let themselves shine! 
Open Positions:
  1. Counselors (At least 18 years of age)
  2. Jr. Counselors (At least 16 years of age and have a valid work permit)
  3. Sports Lead
  4. Arts and Crafts Lead
  5. Specialty Lead
  6. Assistant Director
*All Leads and Assistant Director positions include prep and planning hours. All projects/ideas to be submitted to the Director for approval. 

*All counselors are responsible for obtaining their own CPR certification prior to employment. All other training will be offered through FNDC.
Counselor in Training Applications:
CIT Applications open March 16, 2025
Wondering how you could volunteer at camp? Signing up for our CIT Program is a great way to have a positive impact while volunteering!

CIT applications are open to incoming 9th graders and up! We require that to participate in the volunteer program, CIT's commit to at least 2 weeks worth of volunteering time (does not need to be consecutive). CIT's do not volunteer on Wednesdays as camp will be on a field trip. 

All CIT's will need at least 1 reference and adhere to all the rules of camp. Violations of camp rules can lead to expulsion of the CIT Program.

CIT's can choose to volunteer from 3 shifts:
  1. Morning (9am - 12pm)
  2. Afternoon (12pm - 3pm)
  3. All Day (9am - 3pm)

CIT's will be responsible for logging their own hours. Only logged hours will be approved.

Some CIT responsibilities include:
  • Supporting a camp group of your choice
  • Running our snack shack
  • Helping with on-campus field trips
  • Running carnival

All volunteers will be contacted towards the end of May/early June for an orientation via Zoom with Camp Director and Assistant Director to speak more about the role. PLEASE check your spam inboxes in case you do not see an email from FNDC by this time.
